So I need to start Christmas shopping for the hubby..without him finding out about it? Sharing the same bank account does not help with the sneaky holiday shopping. Any advice from a veteran is much appreciated!
ps. he never looks at the blog so feel free to leave comments :)
Do you have a job? Instead of putting your WHOLE paycheck into your account, you should take some cash out before he looks at it... OR you could have your parents pay for it and then pay them back when it's not weird to have money come out of your account. OR just take a little cash out everyday from your account... that's all i got. Good luck! :)
ReplyDeleteGo get cash out of the atm before you buy something!
ReplyDelete1.Do you have a credit card he doesn't know about or keep track of?
ReplyDelete2. Just take cash out at a bunch of different time and he won't think too much of it...
layaway. when small increments come out the boys usually dont notice. if you ship something have it shipped to someone elses house. take out cash from your paycheck before you deposit it to put towards his gift. all sneaky ideas that have worked in the past for me and my husband watches for his presents.
ReplyDeleteHey Linds!! Something we have done was we took out a certain amount in cash for each of us to buy gifts for one another. It was fun to try to spend that exact amount on different gifts for one another, and it was great since it was cash, because we could not see what stores things were bought at on the account. Good luck!!!
ReplyDeletewithdraw the cash before hand and pay with the cash, then he cant look up account history hahaha
ReplyDeleteHaha we eiTher use cash or tell eachother we aren't allowed to look at the cc statement. OR have a parent or friend buy it and pay them back! :)
ReplyDeletepay cash?
ReplyDeleteSeriously, you really just have to pull money out and pay with cash. That is the only way I have found so far. only because my husband checks our bank account almost every day.
ReplyDeletehahah thanks for the ideas. Too bad he watches our account like a hawk, I have direct deposit and he will ask about every single cent... It guess its a good and bad thing lol. Oh well I'll figure something out!
